Jayme Tomchik, DMD
Dr. Tomchik received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1991. He was one of the few people qualified to complete his undergraduate degree in Biology and his Doctoral Degree in Dental Medicine in seven years instead of the normal eight years. He then furthered his training with the United States Navy for three years and has been in private practice for over 26 years. He thoroughly enjoys helping patients with their dental needs. His wife Mindy and children Jordan and Abbey are the joys of his life. Dr. Tomchik has been the manager of the SCAA little league for 5 years when his children were growing up. He now attends his children’s college football games and enjoys watching Abbey perform in her college band, JMU Marching Royal Dukes.
Nicole Denton
Office Manager
Nicole is a native of Virginia Beach where she graduated from Kempsville High School. Soon after she attended dental assisting school where she graduated in the top of her class. Nicole has been employed at Tomchik Dentistry since 2005. She is a friendly face at the front desk, helping patients with their insurance needs and scheduling appointments. She can also be found in the back assisting Dr. Tomchik with procedures. In her spare time Nicole loves spending time with her family and friends. She has two children, Blake and Brady.
Laura Jones, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Laura is a Virginia Beach native whose family has lived in the area for generations. She graduated with honors from Princess Anne High School and Old Dominion University. Over the course of her career she has continued her studies to stay current with the latest technological advances in the field of dental hygiene. She is certified to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation. Laura is married to her high school sweetheart, Scott. They have two sons, Bryce and Ian. In her free time Laura enjoys spending time with her family doing any activity that involves being outdoors in the sun and water!
Stephanie Nery-Strickland, RDH
Stephanie is a native of Virginia Beach and has been a practicing dental hygienist with over 20 years of experience in providing comprehensive dental care and hygiene services.
A graduate from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor's in Dental Hygiene, she is passionate about educating patients on the importance of oral health and implementing preventive dental care practices.
Throughout her career, Stephanie has gained extensive experience and knowledge in which she has certifications in local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, and laser gum therapy.
Stephanie has two daughters and four dogs, ( two miniature Dachshunds and two Maltipoos). Outside of the dental office, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
